Gardening with AlienCG

Posted by AlienCG on August 18, 2008

This will be my first Gardening post on the new blog (OK, this week will be a lot of firsts for this blog) and we look at one of the plants that I haven’t focused on because it was in the smaller garden. Unfortunately, because of a lack of direct sunlight, it didn’t do as well as I had hoped.

These are the basil plants. The may be small, but they are still flavorful. You can also see that the weeds are in full force.

This is a close-up view of the closer plant. I have picked a few leaves off of it for dinner one day.

I think I’m going to like WordPress for blogging.  I can do posts early and let them post themselves when the time is right.  I always enjoy sharing my garden with all of you, have a good evening.

It is very green over here today…

The basil are like the session players behind the curtain to the tomatoes. The tomatoes get all the publicity usually, glad you sported the little guy tonight.

That is great when you can take stuff out of your own garden to use for spicing a meal up.. it”s looking good inspite of not getting proper sunshine…I bet it tasted really yummy…!

Yeah. Basil needs a lot of sun. I try to make up little bags of pesto sauce and freeze them so we can taste basil throughout the Winter.
